Learn About The Catholic Church –

Category: RCIA,

No Strings Attached!

Have you asked yourself any of the following questions?

I've been thinking that I may want to become Catholic, but I'm not really sure what's involved.  Maybe, once I find out, I may or may not decide to join the Catholic Church."

My children are being brought up Catholic, and I would really like to understand what they and my spouse believe.  I've been kind of leaning toward becoming  Catholic myself."

I'm looking for something more in life than what I have now.  Is the Catholic Church for me?"

How do I become Catholic?"

What is RCIA?

RCIA is an acronym for Rite of  Christian Initiation for  Adults.

In the very earliest days of the Church, adults took instruction in the Christian faith, and learned its' ways.  The RCIA is simply the process by which adults today learn about the Church, its' practices, and prayer life, and are welcomed into the faith community of the Catholic Church.

You Are nvited:

RCIA is intended for:

1)  Those who are not baptized, and may wish to be baptized into

Christ within the Catholic community.

2)  Those who are already part of Christ's Church through baptism in

another faith community, but who may wish to profess faith

within the Catholic Church.

3)  Those who are baptized Catholic, but have not celebrated the

Sacraments of Confirmation and Holy Eucharist.
