With Deepest Gratitude

Category: school news,

In 2007, when Fr. Dave extended the invitation to be the next Principal of Our Lady of Humility School, I never could have envisioned how wonderful the opportunity he was giving me would be.

While we have completed a number of significant updates to the school, including building a new middle school, adopting a one to one computer program for all students in Grades 3 through 8, installing air conditioning in all of the classrooms, adding several pieces of equipment to our playground, and making significant updates in our school’s safety program; what has been more impressive, are the people I have met along the way.

The teachers and staff have humbled me in their daily love of the children, and desire to share the faith. The three pastors I have worked for have all brought different gifts that have kept our Parish viable, and the men and women who belong to our various Parish Ministries have all shared their gifts generously.

Men like Phil Tobin, Richard McFarlin, John Peters, Rick Cochrane, Will Caraballo, and Chuck Roberts have all helped me realize how important it is to continue to share our talents many years after their own children are grown.

Thank you to the parents and grandparents who have made significant sacrifices in sending your children to OLH School.  While we worked to keep tuition affordable for all families, I know it has been a challenge for many of you. The fact that you were willing to make that sacrifice is inspiring.

May God continue to bless each of your families, and may you always realize that what you do makes a difference in the lives of children.  Your donations, both big and small, are important to continuing our mission of providing an education that is truly, “Catholic and Excellent”.

Mr. Patrick L. Browne, M.Ed.

Principal, Our Lady of Humility School
