A Eucharistic Holy Hour For Life –Respect Life Sunday

Category: Parish News,

This Sunday, October 6th, is Respect Life Sunday, when the Church celebrates the sanctity and beauty of human life from the moment of conception until natural death. Our Church urgently calls all to “a general mobilization of consciences, and a united ethical effort to create a great campaign in support of life.”

Please join us for a Holy Hour this Sunday, October 6th, from 7PM until 8PM in Church. We will be praying for the Protection of Life, and for the continuation of our religious freedom at this Eucharistic Holy Hour. The Holy Hour will conclude with Benediction. Let us join together to pray, and help to build a culture of life.

“O God, our Creator, from Your provident hand we have received our right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness… We ask You to bless us in our vigilance for the gift of religious liberty… Grant, we pray, O Heavenly Father, a clear and united voice to all Your sons and daughters gathered in Your Church in this decisive hour in the history of our nation…” (USCCB Prayer for the Protection of Liberty 2012)
