Our Lady Of Humility Two Year Policy For Sacrament Preparation

"Each child is ordinarily expected to attend a minimum of two-thirds of the classes for two years in preparation for a sacrament." Adopted June 1984, Amended June 1995.

To help families out that have children older than first grade who have had no formal Religious Education Classes, the Religious Education Department will provide families with home Religious Education materials over the Spring and Summer months to take the place of the first year of preparation for their children. They then can be registered for Fall classes and receive First Communion May 2003.

The cost for this service is a $15.00 book fee per child. Families not registered with the Parish will be charged $30.00. Bilingual materials are available in Spanish.

This service will be offered up to August 1st. After which families will have to enroll their child for the two years preparation, and the child will receive First Communion May of 2004.
Along with classes, families are expected to attend weekend Masses, and other Parish events to provide the children an experience of "Church".

Office hours are Monday-Thursday 9AM to 4PM, and when classes are in session up to May 6th. Class schedule: Sundays 10:15-11:30AM, and Mondays 6:30-7:45PM.
